Acrow Harvest – Wellington, CT 2020
Over the years, we have entertained clients, suppliers and staff members at least once a year in various venues and locations. This year, decided to try something new and only a few clients were invited to attend with some of our staff members.
As it was at an experimental stage, we were not sure how it would have turned out, but the Harvest idea was a success in the end. We will definitely offer this to our clients as a yearly function in gratitude to their support to Acrow.
Cleaning Up Operations
Cleaning up operations have been happening lately and I would like to thank the team for getting it up to European standards. It was such a pleasure to bring clients like Leroy Merlin and DHL for a tour and getting only good and positive feedback.
This positivity is what places us at the TOP!
WELL DONE GUYS…KEEP IT UP!
Euroshop 2020
It is really tough out there and the only way to survive is to find work… Find companies who need our products and this we can only do when we market ourselves. Euroshop is one of the largest of its kind, where CEO’s of large companies look for ideas to modernize and improve their stores….and we can provide solutions to their storage challenges.
Thanks Enrico and Elen. Go get them orders ?
Corona Virus
On another note altogether, the Corona Virus is spreading quite rapidly globally and it’s effects are concerning.
Here are a few ways one can prevent it infecting you:
- No handshaking, rather fist bump.
- Use disinfectants as often and everywhere as possible.
- Wash your hands regularly.
- Keep hand sanitizer with you everywhere you go.
- Sneeze into your elbow
- Use latex gloves especially when you go to public places.
The virus is spread by droplets by coughing or sneezing and affects your lungs if contracted. The only way for the virus to infect you is through your nose or mouth via your hands or an infected cough or sneeze onto or into your nose or mouth. Hygiene is of utmost importance team…..
Projects
2019 started off as a challenge. We have been facing difficult domestic markets, electricity shortages and an unstable steel supply. However, it isn’t all roses in the rest of the world either.
China has offered us it’s latest export and it has slowed down global economies brining many countries to their knees. Our market, as logistic equipment providers has been particularly hard hit, especially in our growing European markets.
Projects such as Idexx (a supplier of pet vaccines), which have been undertaken with our partner Fortna really showcase Acrow excellence. Not only as a producer, but also in keeping to our project deadlines in difficult operational conditions. I am very proud of our team, and wish them strength in the final touches to the project.
Coming Up:
We have just been informed that we were awarded the Apli contract which will be installed in Port Elizabeth mid this year. Congratulations guys, but to get the job we had to pull some strings whereby we have been left with no room for errors ?
